The Challenge
The existing wayfinding system was outdated, inconsistent, and lacked a strong identity. Visitors found it difficult to locate key attractions, trails, and community spaces. Additionally, the lack of a unified branding approach meant that the corridor didn’t have a distinctive presence.

The Solution
A fresh, nature-inspired branding system was developed, incorporating a vibrant color palette and clear iconography to improve visibility and accessibility. The signage design emphasized clarity, incorporating intuitive symbols and typography. Key locations were marked with distinct yet cohesive elements to reinforce a sense of place and connectivity throughout the corridor.

The Result
The new wayfinding system significantly improved navigation and user experience. The branding brought a modern and welcoming identity to the Grand River Corridor, making it more accessible and visually appealing. Visitors now have a clearer understanding of the space, and the community benefits from a more engaging and functional public environment.
